Hi! My name is Katy Clark and I am a multiage teacher at the Primary.
Multiage is a busy place and I think you’ll be amazed at the skills your child will learn in kindergarten and 1st grade, both academically and socially. Multiage means our class is composed of half kindergarteners and half 1st graders. This will be my 14th year teaching in Edwardsburg year and I can’t wait to get to know your children during the next two years.
Previously, I taught in South Bend, in PHM, and in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sandwiched between those teaching years, I stayed home with our 4 children for 19 years! Our "baby" is a daughter who graduated from Notre Dame a couple of years ago and now loves living in Moab, Utah, which is too far away from her mom (according to her mom)! We also have a son in his 3rd year of med school, and another who lives in Ukranian Village, near downtown Chicago. He got married just this summer. Our oldest is a daughter who lives near us and has 3 little girls. We are so lucky to have them close!
My husband and I have lived in South Bend/Granger since we were married, but we are from Ohio. When I’m not at school, I love to read, run, work in my yard, and kayak. We go to Maine every summer with all of our kids and lots of extended family.
