Welcome to the wonderful world of 1st grade!  My name is Mrs. Rachel Dennis and I am your child's teacher.  I have taught in South Bend Schools for 12 years.  I have taught kindergarten (EL), first grade (EL), 3/4 grade reading bilingual teacher, 2 years as a reading intervention specialist and reading coach and this is my sixth year teaching in Edwardsburg.  I graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and from Ball State University with a master's in reading. 

 

I am married to my husband Jeff and we have two daughters ages 2 and 4.  I love to travel and spend time with our families.  Teaching is my passion and I am very proud to be a member of the Edwardsburg Primary School faculty.
