All About Mrs. Mahoney

My name is Kayla Mahoney and I graduated from Constantine High School in 2006 and then graduated from Western Michigan University and got my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education in 2010. This will be my 8th year teaching here at Edwardsburg! I absolutely love it here and love being an EDDIE! During my first year of teaching I got married to my high school sweetheart, Jesse Mahoney, February 9th. So we are coming up to our 7th year of marriage. Then my second year here we bought our first house on Long Lake in Union. I love sports and being out on the water! My third year here I had my son, Grayson on March 9th! He is the most amazing little boy and the children will hear all types of stories about him! Then my fourth year here I had my daughter, Claire on May 13th! She is the sweetest girl and the children will also hear lots of things about her! This year I believe will be another fantastic year and I am so excited to teach your children and to watch them grow! I also have one dog named Harley Quinn and two cats named Charlie and Chester! The children will hear many many stories about them (they are funny funny animals). I love spending time with my family and showing my babies new things in the world! I also love movies and music and all sports! So now you all know some things about me and I can't wait to learn more about your lovely children! Let's have a great school year!! GO EDDIES!
